This land is the source of our vision. Twenty years ago we purchased a plot of rugged, untamed ground in the Mayacamas Range just west of the Spring Mountain District. We discovered where vines had been tended by early settlers and with respect for the land, returned the rolling hillsides to vineyard.
Perched on a far flung slope surrounded by nature, the Cornell estate contains twenty obsessively farmed vineyard blocks, each lending its own distinctive imprint to the wines.
Through the lens of Cabernet Sauvignon, we strive to make a wine that is faithful to the diversity of this impressive land.
Collaboration is vital to our winegrowing endeavor. Under the guidance of winemakers Francoise Peschon and Elizabeth Tangney, our masterful team works in harmony to cultivate and share this special place on the mountain.
We invite you to join in this joyful process and bear witness to the evolution of the estate. The circle is complete when each release makes its way to our collectors.
