2019 Chardonnay

It’s in the nature of the Chardonnay grape to exude vitality. Bearing translucent and delicate skins at the time of ripeness, the fruit readily absorbs the sun’s all-important energy, the evening fog’s wistful chill. By the final days of summer, the vines are rich with luminous jewels, eager to be picked ever so carefully, like a flower at peak bloom. In 2019, this metamorphosis gave us a high energy, light-filled wine that earns its place on our table.

The 2019 Chardonnay is a wine reminiscent of the crisp, clear morning of its harvest. A pale golden hue in the glass, like the day’s first light, the wine opens with ocean air, jasmine, and the delicate perfume of orange blossoms. At turns lush and linear on the palate, the finely integrated French oak enlivens notes of white peach, guava, passionfruit, and vibrant citrus throughout, with a crisp, mouthwatering finish.
