2019 Commitment Cabernet Sauvignon

With the 2019 Commitment, we expand our understanding of Cornell's mountain vineyard and how it expresses with time in the cellar and the bottle. At inception, the 2019 was a generous, highly energetic vintage. Aged with intention for an additional year in French oak, this Cabernet Sauvignon arrives effortlessly at a place of resolve, delighting the palate with its vibrancy and ease.

The 20 I 9 Commitment is a calm, confident wine. It shares wisdom and seriousness that comes with maturity. A tapestry of fruit and earth elements, dark wild cherry and red currant are woven with sage, fresh coffee beans, truffle, peat and petrichor. Fine yet powerful tannin moves deliberately over the palate in one broad, glassy wave. Aromatically and texturally dynamic, this is a true celebration of our lovingly cultivated vineyard.
