2021 Chardonnay

Chardonnay calls to be harvested on long, radiant days well before the season’s swan song. Heat is a near certainty, while thunderheads and cold snaps seem a distant concept. The fruit itself embodies this beaming optimism. Upon harvest, we collect thousands of tiny golden suns to be gently pressed, on a mission to bottle endless summer. The resulting wine, handled minimally in the cellar, will glow with vibrant fruit for many seasons to come.

The 2021 Cornell Chardonnay continues our practice of measured oak influence, with the goal of unvarnished, directional wines. With an intricate array of white tea, lemon, and mandarin on the nose, this modern wine is defined by clean lines and brilliant fruit flavors. By forgoing secondary fermentation, highlights of lime, yuzu, green apple, and white nectarine are preserved, ensuring a nuanced and expressive Chardonnay.
